Kian is a paralegal within the public law team and is under the supervision of Michael Imperato.
Kian joined Watkins and Gunn in October 2022, assisting in the infected blood inquiry. He then joined the firm’s public law department on a permanent basis in January 2023 and assists with Judicial Review challenges and personal injury matters.
Education
Kian attained a LLB (hons) degree in Law at Nottingham Trent University in 2022. He has since commenced studies at Cardiff University where for his LLM in Governance and Devolution and is set to graduate in 2023. Kian’s undergraduate dissertation focussed on the nature of the United Kingdom’s Constitution, and he has begun research on his LLM project that will focus on a separate legal jurisdiction in Wales.
Outside of Work
In his spare time, Kian is an avid ice hockey player, having represented team Barbarians in the UK Charity All Stars 2022 tournament and he will be representing the team once again in 2023. He is also a keen traveller and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
