Holly joined the firm in December 2022 as a Paralegal in the Employment team. She is supervised by Team Head, Lisa Guscott.
Prior to joining Watkins and Gunn, Holly gained several years’ experience acting for both employees and employers in Employment Tribunal cases. Since joining Watkins and Gunn, Holly has enjoyed taking a focus on supporting employees who belong to their Trade Union.
Holly has particular experience in claims for unfair dismissal, multi-discrimination, whistleblowing, TUPE, redundancy, unlawful deduction from wages and breach of contract.
Holly also advises clients on non-contentious matters such as grievance procedures and drafting employment contracts and policies. She has advised both employees and larger organisations on internal employment policies and procedures.
Holly has a particular interest in disability discrimination and is dedicated to achieving access to justice for employees who have been treated unfavourably because of their health.
Holly is currently sitting her final module of the CILEx Level 6 Diploma in Law and Practice; on completion, she hopes to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive, specialising in Employment Law.
