Personal Injury Solicitor / Legal Executive (with Practising Rights)

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor or qualified Legal Executive with practising rights to join our highly regarded Personal Injury team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, with a strong emphasis on workplace accident claims, alongside public liability and road traffic accident (RTA) matters.

Location

Pontypool or Cardiff (with hybrid and flexible working opportunities )

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a mixed caseload of workplace accidents, public liability, and RTAs, from instruction through to settlement or hearing.
• Provide clear, empathetic advice to clients
• Liaise with trade unions and maintain strong working relationships with union representatives.
• Display strong compliance skills.
• Supervise junior team members where appropriate and contribute to team development.
• Attend union conferences and networking events.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with practising rights with 2 years + PQE.
• Proven experience in workplace accident claims.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury litigation, including public liability and RTAs.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive as part of a collaborative team.

Desirable

• Experience working with trade unions.
• Membership of APIL

Salary

• Dependant on experience and qualifications.
