Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor/ Chartered Legal Executive with minimum 2 years’ experience in all areas of elderly client law.
  • Experience of handling a mixed caseload of complex Wills, Estates, Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Court of Protection work with minimal supervision
  • STEP diploma is advantageous but not essential 

 Job Duties:

  • Drafting and preparing a variety of Wills to include Trust type Wills
  • Dealing with the full administration of estates to include appropriate tax advice where necessary
  • Taking instructions and drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney to include registration
  • Knowledge of Court of Protection and providing appropriate  advice to clients on all aspects of Deputyship applications
  • Effective self-management of a healthy caseload
