A Welsh law firm has been shortlisted for the Law Society Excellence Awards and the South Wales Business Awards.

Watkins & Gunn Solicitors, which has offices in Cardiff, Newport and Pontypool, has been shortlisted for the Law Society’s Excellence awards in Business Development and Excellence in Technology categories and the Excellence in Technology category at the South Wales Business Awards.

As one of only two Welsh law firms to be shortlisted for the Business Development category, Watkins & Gunn Solicitors impressed judges by demonstrating its new and innovative ways to grow its legal services and how it has adapted to an ever-changing legal landscape. This has included the use of a new mobile phone App for their clients and the launch of Gateway2Law (www.gateway2law.co.uk) their unique online legal service.

The award-winning firm will find out if it has won the Law Society’s awards at a prestigious black tie dinner on Thursday 20th October 2016 at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel in London.

The South Wales Business Awards will take place on Friday 9th September at the Bear Hotel in Cowbridge and will be hosted by Sara Edwards.
